NAOMI ATHERTON - HORN
Naomi studied at the Royal Northern College of Music during which time she won the Brass Final in the 1984 "BBC Young Musician of the Year" competition. Following this, she undertook a variety of engagements including concertos with the BBC Philharmonic and Ulster Orchestras, and performances of Britten's Serenade for Tenor, Horn and Strings with both Robert Tear and Neil Mackie.
Chamber music now accounts for most of Naomi's work. She is also principal horn with the Northern Chamber Orchestra. |
