BENJAMIN HUDSON - BASSOON
He studied on the joint course at the Royal Northern College
of Music and Manchester University with David Chatwin.
He then continued his studies at the Universitat der Kunste,
Berlin with Prof. Eckart Huebner. Since returning to England,
he has become Principal Bassoon with the Northern Chamber
Orchestra and SubPrincipal with the Manchester Camerata.
He has played as Principal with the BBC Scottish Symphony
Orchestra, the Halle Orchestra, the BBC Welsh Symphony
Orchestra, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and plays
with the chamber ensemble Configure8 and the contemporary
ensemble Psappha. He has recently joined the newly-founded
chamber ensemble, Ensemble 360, the resident ensemble
of Music in the Round. In 1996, Ben became the Woodwind
