GABRIELE LEPORATTI - PIANO
born in Italy in 1978 and began his music studies at the
age of 6. He graduated with the highest grades as well
as with special mention from "L. Cherubini"
Conservatory in Florence at the age of 19. In the same
year he won the Joel Estes Tate scholarship and entered
the Southern Methodist University (Dallas. USA) as a student
of Joaquin Achucarro, obtaining the Artist Certificate
in 1999.
He took part in several master classes given by world
renowned artists like Also Ciccolini, Jerome Rose, Melvyn
Tan, Edward Zilberkant, Fabio Bidini, Franco Rossi, Piero
Rattalino, Dmitri Bashkirov.
He was awarded top prizes in several national and international
competitions (3rd prize in the !X International Piano
Competition "Citta ai Pinerolo" a Special
Award in Bremen Klavierwettbewerb and the Dorothy McKenzie
Award 2nd Prize, New York, amongst others.
Gabriele Leporatti played in several international festivals
both as soloist and chamber musician in Itlay at the Festival
di Portogruaro and with artists live Eva Mei and Fabio
Bidini.
In 2001 he recorded with Fabio Bidini a four hands music
CD (Schubert, Brahms, Rachmaninoff) for True Sounds Label.
